The Kia Rio is front-wheel drive with independent front suspension, a semi-independent rear suspension, 14-inch wheels on the Base and LX trims, 15-inch on the SX trim, and front stabilizer bar. It runs on a 110 hp 1.6-liter four-cylinder with continuously variable valve timing. The power is controlled by a five-speed manual or an optional four-speed automatic (excluding the base trim).
